Best TV Shows of The Decade (2010-2019)
When I provided my best of the best TV shows, documentaries, and podcasts for 2019 (you have to be a thisisLDR subscriber to get that list 😉), it slipped my mind that we were going into a new decade. So because of my slip up, you get another #LDRapproved list.
In order to eliminate the obvious choices (i.e. "Mad Men," "Dexter," "Sons of Anarchy," "Breaking Bad," and "The Good Wife"), I only included shows whose pilot episode aired between 2010 and 2019.
Before I get the comments and the notes, I'm just gonna let you know I didn't include "Downton Abbey and "The Handmaid's Tale" isn't listed either (I've only watched two episodes). To be honest, the show scares me. I've had nightmares about it. Based on the direction this country is currently headed, this fictional world could actually come true. If and when I start watching it again, it will be in the daytime. Yes, I'm being a scaredy cat!
This list contains 50 and a whole bunch of possibles for the shows that I'd recommend from the last ten years. The show rankings are measured not only on whether it's well-written and contained good acting, but also by its "talk at the water cooler" meter, its "for the culture" status, "I can't stop watching this train wreck" and the plain old because "I like the show!" stature.
